About our Ph.D. program

EMLYON’s Ph.D. program in management aims at educating first-rate academics for universities around the world.

Through the program, students acquire a thorough understanding of theories and methods in management. Working closely with faculty members, they also gain knowledge as to the latest developments in research. In line with the school’s philosophy, an emphasis is put on entrepreneurship, international business, and the relationships between business and society. This is reflected in areas of specialization: organization theory, strategic management, international management, and entrepreneurship.

The program is entirely taught in English, by highly regarded scholars. It lasts for four years, with the first two involving most of the courses and seminars.  All admitted students receive a full scholarship covering tuition and a generous stipend.
